교육 목표
경제학과 대학원은 교육기관과 연구소, 금융기관을 포함한 다양한 분야에서 필요로 하는 경제전문인력을 양성하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위하여 경제 현상과 관련 문제들을 분석하고 효과적인 대안을 제시할 수 있는 창조적인 사고 능력과 분석 능력을 갖출 수 있도록 각 분야에 필요한 고급경제이론과 실증분석방법론, 세미나 등 균형 잡힌 대학원 프로그램을 제공한다.
세부 전공
경제학과 대학원에는 ‘경제학전공’과 ‘AI금융전공’을 두고 있다.
경제학전공은 석사학위과정과 박사학위과정, 그리고 석·박사통합과정을 운영하고 있으며, 수리경제학, 계량경제학, 금융경제학, 재정학, 도시경제학, 경제발전론, 노동경제학, 자원 및 환경 경제학, 산업조직론, 국제경제학, 경제사, 경기변동과 성장이론, 이 밖에 학과 대학원 위원회가 인정하는 경제학 분야를 전공할 수 있다.
AI금융전공은 석사학위과정만을 운영하고 있으며, AI 분석방법을 이용하여 금융시장 관련 주제를 분석할 수 있는 인재를 양성하고자 하는 과정이다.
Educational Objectives
The Graduate Program in Economics aims to cultivate professionals in economics who are needed in a wide range of fields, including educational institutions, research institutes, and financial organizations. To achieve this goal, the program provides a well-balanced graduate curriculum consisting of advanced economic theory, empirical analysis methodologies, and seminars, enabling students to develop creative thinking and analytical skills to analyze economic phenomena and related issues and to propose effective alternatives.
Areas of Specialization
The Graduate Program in Economics offers two tracks: Economics and AI Finance.
The Economics track offers Master’s, Doctoral, and integrated Master’s-Doctoral programs. Students may specialize in mathematical economics, econometrics, financial economics, public finance, urban economics, economic development, labor economics, resource and environmental economics, industrial organization, international economics, economic history, business cycles and growth theory, and other areas of economics approved by the Graduate Program Committee.
The AI Finance track offers only a Master’s program and is designed to cultivate professionals who can analyze finance-related topics using AI-based analytical methods.
