Honors Program은 금융분야와 경제학 진학과정을 목표로 하는 소수의 우수한 학부생에게 진로 목표를 달성할 수 있는 체계적인 교육과정을 제공하는 프로그램으로 2012년 도입되어 각 분야별 주임교수를 두고 있으며, 프로그램 학생을 주 대상으로 하는 과목을 경제학과 다수의 교수들이 개발하고 강의하고 있다.
(1) 저학년 단계에서 우수학생을 선발, 관리하여 졸업시 목표를 달성하게 함에 따른 교육적 효과를 얻는다.
(2) 소수의 우수한 학생을 특별히 교육시킴에 따른 서강 경제의 수월성 제고한다.
(3) 다양한 경제학 학습 트랙을 제시한다.
(4) 선발되지 않은 우수 학생들도 이 커리큘럼을 모방하여 공부하는 파급효과를 얻는다.
(5) 우수 교과 과정을 통한 우수 신입생 유치한다.
Honors Program은 대학원 진학 및 유학을 준비하는 학생들을 위한 이론경제학 분야와 PB, IB등 금융기관과 컨설팅 기업 진출자를 위한 재무경제학 분야로 운영되고 있다.

Honors Program is a structured academic program introduced in 2012 for a small number of outstanding undergraduate students who aim to pursue careers in finance or continue to graduate studies in economics.
(1) It produces educational benefits by selecting and guiding outstanding students from the lower years so that they can achieve their goals by graduation.
(2) It enhances the excellence of Sogang Economics through intensive education for a select group of high-achieving students.
(3) It presents diverse learning tracks in economics.
(4) It creates a spillover effect, as other excellent students who are not selected may also follow this curriculum.
(5) It helps attract outstanding incoming students through a high-quality curriculum.
Honors Program is operated in two tracks: Theoretical Economics for students preparing for graduate study and study abroad, and Financial Economics for those seeking careers in financial institutions and consulting firms such as PB and IB.
