AI+경제 연구센터 소개
최근 경제학 뿐만 아니라 다른 사회과학 분야에서도 빅데이터와 AI의 연구가 급증하고 있다. 서강대학교 AI+경제 연구센터는 딥러닝과 빅데이터를 활용한 최신 연구 동향을 파악하며, 이를 구성원들과의 정보 교류와 협업을 통해 혁신적인 경제학 연구 주제를 발굴하고 추진하고자 한다.
AI+경제 연구센터는 기계학습 방법론의 이론과 실습을 포함한 비정형 데이터의 정형화, 다양한 경제 지표 예측 등 다양한 주제를 포괄하는 연구를 수행하고 있다.
그 외에도, 본 센터는 지리학의 GIS 데이터와 컴퓨터 공학에서의 AI 알고리즘과 경제학이 결합됨으로써, 경제학 연구에서 데이터나 방법론의 한계를 극복하고, 융합 연구의 역량을 갖춘 전문가들을 양성하는 것을 목표로 삼고 있다.
